Intesa Sanpaolo and all Group companies and banks subject to accessibility regulations are adapting their digital channels to the accessibility requirements set out in the relevant regulations, inspired by the values of their code of ethics.
The right to accessibility is one of the key factors to which the Group has always paid the utmost attention, including through constant review and maintenance of its digital channels and content.
Declaration of accessibility
Compliance status
Non-accessible content
The contents listed below are not accessible for the following reason:
Non-compliance with Law No. 4 of 9 January 2004
- Some visual and interactive content is not accompanied by alternative text descriptions (e.g., button icons, some images, and charts displaying financial data).
- Some content (such as text links) relies solely on color to indicate interactivity.
- In the private area, on the "Values, movements and payments" page, you may find pie charts that offer no visual indication of their division into sections, making them difficult for users to understand.
- Videos on the platform may lack alternative modes of consumption (such as comprehensive text descriptions of the content or audio descriptions).
- The platform presents some structural issues: page headings may be disorganized with skipped hierarchy levels; there is no skip-to-main-content button; page titles may be generic; custom selection fields are not linked to their respective accessibility labels; table cells are not associated with their headers.
- Some platform content does not properly adapt to screen size, resulting in loss of functionality or information (e.g., text from certain newsroom articles).
- Some input fields do not notify users of errors in form submission, or do not provide sufficiently clear descriptions of the error and how to resolve it. Additionally, some error banners do not remain visible for long enough.
- Some graphic and textual elements do not present sufficient contrast with the background, making them difficult to read.
- Keyboard navigation presents issues across the platform: the tab order may be illogical; many links/buttons do not respond to the Enter key; carousels cannot be navigated using directional arrows; focus is not always clearly visible on interactive elements; non-interactive elements receive focus unnecessarily, complicating navigation; and tabbing allows only unidirectional movement.
- Site links do not clearly communicate their destination: many contain only icons without accessible descriptions, while others have vague, generic, or empty labels. Additionally, some links display inconsistencies between visible text and accessibility labels, and in some areas, duplicated links lead to the same destination.
- The platform may present issues of visual and/or functional consistency across some content: some interactive elements do not provide a hover state; certain text and elements appear interactive (despite not being so).
- In the private area, on "Values, movements and payments" page, you may find pie charts with labels and descriptions that have no clear reference to data or elements.
- Some components include hover behaviors that are not fully accessible: the menu opens without user input; overlay cards (recognizable by the "+" icon at the bottom right corner) are not always responsive to keyboard commands; tooltips may not be keyboard accessible and are not always visually aligned with the text they reference.
- Interactive elements on the page may lack meaningful accessible names for assistive technologies. Additionally, buttons contain nested elements that receive focus unnecessarily, links have empty or generic labels, selection fields have lost association with labels, and some elements contain contradictory attributes.
- Documents include images without clear alternative text.
- Some documents lack appropriate accessibility tags or a defined hierarchy of both text and non-text content.
- Some documents containing form fields do not support digital completion and do not provide guidance regarding input errors.
- In private area documents, keyboard navigation (using the tab) may not be fully supported.
- Navigation and reading using a screen reader may be inconsistent or not aligned with the document content.
- Documents may lack the title or language of the content in their settings.
