Building awareness for peace of mind in the future
In Italy, only 6% of homes are insured against natural disasters, despite the fact that our country is particularly exposed to extreme weather events. Against this backdrop, characterised by a wide gap between risk exposure and effective protection, we strive to promote a culture of insurance, especially among the younger generations.
For us, this means creating awareness and providing people with the tools they need to make informed decisions and to plan their lives and their future. It also means offering an element of freedom: the freedom to face the future with greater peace of mind - because we never know if or when something might happen. We can, however, prepare ourselves to deal with the unexpected.
This is the reason for our long-lasting commitment to proposing initiatives to disseminate a culture of insurance, especially towards young people, through the use of innovative languages and tools. A commitment that translates into concrete initiatives which encourage these people to develop the ability to plan their own future, by promoting awareness, preparedness and the ability to anticipate challenges, whilst providing them with useful tools to make informed decisions.
This means placing the emphasis on education, creating citizens who are ready to manage their future, even in times of uncertainty.
Campioni di Vita: training for the unexpected
Since 2025, Intesa Sanpaolo Assicurazioni has been a partner of Campioni di Vita, an initiative promoted by the RG Company and dedicated to high school students. The protagonists of this initiative are Paralympic athletes, who all have stories of resilience and determination. Thanks to the Teatro del Vigentino , the participants were also involved in an improvised theatrical performance, enabling them to experience how unexpected events and difficulties can be tackled with greater peace of mind when we are prepared for them.

Proteggere ad Arte: a contest focused on protection
In 2021, “Proteggere ad Arte” was launched, a digital competition aimed at young photographers, painters and illustrators, who were invited to express the value of protection through their work in a personal way, using the language of art to help communicate this. Members of the public learned a lot through these works, and played an active role as they were encouraged to vote online for their preferred piece.
