The Chairman Luigi Maranzana noted that: "The results for the third quarter of 2015 confirm the strength of an Insurance Group that is recording constant growth. Being a proactive member of a large banking Group such as Intesa Sanpaolo is a powerful stimulus and a driver of success. However, achieving such outstanding results, quarter after quarter, would be impossible without a team of top professionals led by the Managing Director of Intesa Sanpaolo Vita and Head of the Insurance Division, Nicola Maria Fioravanti. "As the results show, they are an exceptional working group and customers and investors know they can count on them."

The Managing Director Nicola Maria Fioravanti noted with satisfaction: "The figures are very clear: an increase of 30.4% in financial results compared to the same period last year, life gross written premiums at around 15 billion euro and a rebalancing of the product mix towards unit-linked products in line with our commitments. Exactly one year ago we decided to set up the Insurance Division of Intesa Sanpaolo and it is with pride that I wish to celebrate the first anniversary together with all the people who contribute daily to the achievement of these results. Today, the Insurance Division is an important pillar and is fully integrated within Intesa Sanpaolo, and we believe that we still have significant growth potential. In short, we are moving rapidly towards the full implementation of the business plan, whose target end date is in 2017."
